Keto Stuffed Cabbages Rolls

Ingredients:

For the Cabbage Rolls:

  • 1 large head of green cabbage
  • 1 pound ground beef or ground pork (or a combination)
  • 1/2 cup cauliflower rice
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (adjust to your preferred level of spiciness)
  • 1/4 cup tomato sauce (no sugar added)

For the Tomato Sauce:

  • 1 cup tomato sauce (no sugar added)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions:

For the Cabbage Rolls:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Fill a large pot with water and bring it to a boil. Carefully remove the core from the cabbage and immerse the whole head of cabbage in the boiling water. Boil for about 2-3 minutes or until the outer leaves become pliable. Remove the softened leaves and repeat the process until you have enough leaves for your rolls.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the ground meat, cauliflower rice, chopped onion, minced garlic, salt, black pepper, paprika, thyme, oregano, and red pepper flakes. Mix until well combined.
  4. Place a portion of the meat mixture onto each cabbage leaf. Roll the leaves around the meat, tucking in the sides, to create cabbage rolls.
  5. In a baking dish, spread a layer of tomato sauce on the bottom. Place the cabbage rolls on top.
  6. Pour the remaining tomato sauce over the top of the cabbage rolls.
  7. Cover the baking dish with foil and bake in the preheated oven for about 1 hour, or until the cabbage is tender and the meat is cooked through.

For the Tomato Sauce:

  1. In a small saucepan, combine the tomato sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
  2. Heat the sauce over low heat, stirring occasionally until it’s heated through.
