Keto Tuna Melt Lettuce Wraps

Ingredients:

  • 1 can (5 oz) tuna in water, drained
  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise (check for low-carb options)
  • 1 tbsp diced red onion
  • 1 tbsp chopped celery
  • 1 tbsp chopped dill pickles
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 large Romaine lettuce leaves

For the Melt:

  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions:

  1. In a bowl, combine drained tuna, mayonnaise, red onion, celery, pickles, Dijon mustard, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  2. In a separate bowl, mix together shredded mozzarella, grated Parmesan, garlic powder, oregano, and red pepper flakes.
  3. Place the Romaine lettuce leaves on a serving plate.
  4. Spoon the tuna mixture onto each lettuce leaf.
  5. Sprinkle the cheese mixture evenly over the tuna on each lettuce leaf.
  6. Optional: Place under a broiler for 1-2 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
