Lemon Garlic Butter Chicken Thighs

Ingredients:
6-8 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs00
Salt and pepper
2 tablespoons olive oil
4 tablespoons butter
4 garlic cloves, minced
1/4 cup chicken broth
1/4 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
Lemon slices, for garnish
Chopped fresh parsley, for garnish
Instructions:
Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
Season the chicken thighs with salt and pepper on both sides.
In a large oven-safe skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat.
Add the chicken thighs to the skillet, skin-side down, and cook until golden brown, about 5-6 minutes. Flip the chicken thighs over and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the internal temperature of the chicken thighs reaches 165°F (75°C).
Remove the skillet from the oven and transfer the chicken thighs to a plate. Cover the chicken with foil to keep it warm.
Place the skillet back on the stove over medium heat. Add the butter and minced garlic to the skillet and cook for 1-2 minutes, or until the garlic is fragrant.
Add the chicken broth and lemon juice to the skillet and stir to combine. Bring the mixture to a simmer and cook for 2-3 minutes, or until the sauce has thickened slightly.
Pour the sauce over the chicken thighs and garnish with lemon slices and chopped parsley.
