Ingredients:
- 1 cup ripe bananas, mashed (about 2 medium-sized bananas)
- 1 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1/2 cup honey or maple syrup
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups old-fashioned rolled oats
- 1/2 cup vanilla protein powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips
Instructions:
- Preheat Oven:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Mix Wet Ingredients:
- In a large bowl, mash the ripe bananas with a fork.
- Add peanut butter, honey (or maple syrup), and vanilla extract. Mix until well combined.
- Add Dry Ingredients:
- In a separate bowl, combine rolled oats, protein powder, baking soda, and salt.
- Combine Wet and Dry Ingredients:
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, stirring until everything is well incorporated.
- Add Chocolate Chips:
- Gently fold in the chocolate chips into the cookie dough.
- Scoop and Shape:
- Using a cookie scoop or spoon, drop rounded tablespoons of cookie dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them a couple of inches apart.
- Flatten Cookies:
- Use the back of a fork or your fingers to flatten each cookie slightly. These cookies won’t spread much during baking, so shape them as you want them to turn out.
- Bake:
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 10-12 minutes or until the edges are golden brown.
- Cool:
- Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
- Enjoy:
- Once cooled, enjoy your Peanut Butter, Banana, and Chocolate Chip Protein Cookies! They’re great for a quick and nutritious snack.
