– 1 pack of Masterfoods Garlic and Herb base
– 1 onion ?
– 1/2 cup water
– 1 carrot ?
– 3/4 cup beef stock
Browned shanks in pan – although not necessary. Roughly chopped onion and carrot, put on the base of the slow cooker with the liquids. Cooked on low for 4 hours, then high for 2 hours. Transferred shanks to oven to brown up on high for 5-10 minutes.
Added gravy into remaining liquid to thicken!
Served with Mash potatoes!
