Sweet and Spicy Korean Chicken

Sweet and Spicy Korean Chicken

INGREDIENTS:

1 tablespoon Korean red pepper paste
1 teaspoon toasted sesame oil
1 teaspoon honey
2 cloves minced garlic
1 teaspoon grated ginger
2 chopped chicken quarters or breasts
DIRECTIONS:

In a medium-sized bowl, mix together the Korean red pepper paste, toasted sesame oil, honey, minced garlic, and grated ginger.

Add the chicken pieces to the bowl and massage them well into the sauce/marinade. Let the chicken sit in the marinade for 15 minutes on the counter.

In a frying pan, add 1/2 tablespoon of sesame oil and heat it over medium heat.

Place the marinated chicken in the pan and cook it until it’s thoroughly cooked and nicely glazed, turning occasionally to ensure even cooking.

Once the chicken is cooked through and has a beautiful glaze, remove it from the pan.

Serve the Sweet and Spicy Korean Chicken hot, garnished with sesame seeds and chopped green onions, if desired.

Enjoy your delicious Sweet and Spicy Korean Chicken! 😋
