Vegan Brownies

Ingredients:
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup cocoa powder
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup vegan chocolate chips
Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C).
In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
Add the vegetable oil, applesauce, and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients and stir until everything is well combined.
Fold in the vegan chocolate chips.
Pour the batter into a greased 8-inch square baking pan.
Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the brownies comes out clean.
Remove the pan from the oven and let the brownies cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
