Your favorite hot dog toppings (e.g. ketchup, mustard, relish, onions, sauerkraut)
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
Peel your carrots and slice off both ends. You can leave them whole or cut them in half if they are too long.
In a mixing bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, maple syrup, liquid smoke, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
Add the carrots to the bowl and toss them with the marinade until they are well coated.
Let the carrots marinate for at least 10 minutes, but you can also let them sit for up to an hour if you have the time.
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and place the carrots on top, leaving some space in between each one.
Bake the carrots in the oven for 20-25 minutes, or until they are tender and lightly browned.
Serve the carrots in hot dog buns and add your favorite toppings
