Vegan Chia Pudding

Vegan Chia Pudding

Ingredients:
1/4 cup chia seeds
1 cup plant-based milk (such as almond milk, coconut milk, or soy milk)
2 tablespoons cocoa powder
2 tablespoons maple syrup or agave nectar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Optional toppings: sliced bananas, berries, chopped nuts, coconut flakes, etc.
Instructions:
In a bowl, combine the chia seeds, cocoa powder, and sweetener (maple syrup or agave nectar). Mix well to evenly distribute the cocoa powder.
Add the plant-based milk and vanilla extract to the bowl. Stir until all the ingredients are well combined.
Let the mixture sit for about 5 minutes, then stir again to prevent clumping.
Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight. During this time, the chia seeds will absorb the liquid and form a pudding-like consistency.
After the chilling time, give the pudding a good stir to break up any clumps and ensure a smooth texture.
Serve the chocolate chia pudding in individual bowls or glasses. You can top it with your favorite fruits, nuts, or coconut flakes for added flavor and texture.
Enjoy the vegan chocolate chia pudding immediately or refrigerate for later consumption. It will keep well in the refrigerator for up to 3-4 days.
This recipe is customizable, so feel free to adjust the sweetness or add any other flavorings you prefer. Enjoy your delicious and nutritious vegan chocolate chia pudding!
