VEGAN DONUTS

Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 cup granulated sugar
2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
3/4 cup almond milk (or any non-dairy milk)
1 tsp apple cider vinegar
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/4 cup vegetable oil
1/4 cup unsweetened applesauce
For the glaze:
1 cup powdered sugar
2 tbsp almond milk (or any non-dairy milk)
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a donut pan with cooking spray or vegetable oil.
In a medium-sized mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
In a separate mixing bowl, whisk together the almond milk, apple cider vinegar, vanilla extract, vegetable oil, and unsweetened applesauce.
Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until well combined.
Spoon the batter into the donut pan, filling each mold about 2/3 full.
Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the donuts comes out clean.
Let the donuts cool for a few minutes before removing them from the pan.
To make the glaze, whisk together the powdered sugar, almond milk, and vanilla extract in a small bowl.
