Vegan margarita pizza pie

Vegan margarita pizza pie

Ingredients:
1 lb pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
1/2 cup tomato sauce
1/2 tsp dried oregano
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp onion powder
1/4 tsp salt
1 cup vegan mozzarella cheese, shredded
2-3 large tomatoes, sliced
Handful of fresh basil leaves, torn
Olive oil, for drizzling
Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 425°F.
In a small bowl, mix together the tomato sauce, oregano, garlic powder, onion powder, and salt.
Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface to about 1/4 inch thickness. Transfer the dough to a baking sheet or pizza stone.
Spread the tomato sauce mixture over the pizza dough, leaving about 1/2 inch border around the edge.
Sprinkle the vegan mozzarella cheese over the sauce.
Arrange the tomato slices on top of the cheese.
Drizzle the pizza with a little bit of olive oil.
Bake the pizza in the oven for 18-20 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Once the pizza is done, remove it from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes.
Sprinkle the fresh torn basil leaves over the pizza.
Cut the pizza into slices and serve hot.
