These are the ingredients for the sauce. Mix the orange juice and cornstarch and bring it to a boil. Remember to constantly stirly. Then add in all other ingredients.
1 cup Orange Juice fresh
1/2 cup Sugar
¼ cup Rice Vinegar or White Vinegar
4 tbsp Soy Sauce or tamari for a gluten-free dish (I used liquid amino)
1/2 teaspoon Ginger
1/2 teaspoon Garlic Powder or 2 garlic cloves finely diced
1/2 teaspoon Red Chili Flakes
1 tsp sesame oil
Orange Zest from 2 oranges
1 Tablespoon Cornstarch
I also used one pack of extra firm tofu. Make a batter using cornstarch and flour. I enjoy a wet batter because i feel like it evenly coated. Deep fry them until a golden color, set them aside to drain all excess oil. Reheat your sauce and pour crispy tofu into the sauce.
