VEGAN PIECE OF CAKE

Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup granulated sugar
1/4 cup cocoa powder
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1 cup water
1/3 cup vegetable oil
1 tbsp white vinegar
1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease an 8-inch round cake pan with cooking spray or oil.
In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
In a separate mixing bowl, whisk together the water, vegetable oil, vinegar, and vanilla extract.
Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients, and mix until just combined.
Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan, and smooth the top with a spatula.
Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean.
Allow the cake to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then remove it from the pan and transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely.
Serve the cake as is, or top it with your favorite frosting or fresh fruit.
