WW big mac salad recipe
Ingredients:
For the Salad:
- 1 pound lean ground beef
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 8 cups chopped romaine lettuce
- 1 cup diced tomatoes
- 1 cup diced pickles
- 1/2 cup diced onions
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- Sesame seeds (for garnish, optional)
For the Special Sauce:
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons ketchup
- 1 tablespoon sweet pickle relish
- 1 tablespoon finely minced onion
- 1 teaspoon white vinegar
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
Instructions:
- Cook the Ground Beef:
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Add the ground beef, salt, and pepper. Cook until the beef is browned and cooked through, breaking it apart with a spoon as it cooks. Drain excess fat if needed. Set aside to cool slightly.
- Prepare the Special Sauce:
- In a small bowl, mix together mayonnaise, ketchup, sweet pickle relish, minced onion, white vinegar, sugar, and salt. Set aside.
- Assemble the Salad:
- In a large salad bowl, layer the chopped romaine lettuce.
- Top the lettuce with the cooked ground beef.
- Sprinkle diced tomatoes, diced pickles, and diced onions over the ground beef.
- Drizzle the special sauce over the salad.
- Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the top.
- Optionally, sprinkle sesame seeds over the salad for garnish.
