Air Fryer Burgers Recipe

Air Fryer Burgers Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound ground beef (80% lean, 20% fat is a good choice for juicy burgers)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 4 hamburger buns
  • Cheese slices (optional)
  • Burger toppings of your choice (lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, etc.)
  • Condiments of your choice (ketchup, mustard, mayonnaise, etc.)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the Air Fryer: Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Prepare the Burger Patties: In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix gently until the seasonings are evenly distributed. Divide the mixture into four equal portions and shape them into burger patties.
  3. Prep the Air Fryer Basket: Lightly grease the air fryer basket or use parchment paper to prevent sticking.
  4. Cook the Burger Patties: Place the burger patties in the preheated air fryer basket, ensuring they are not too crowded to allow proper air circulation. Cook for 12-15 minutes, flipping the patties halfway through the cooking time. Cooking times may vary based on the thickness of your patties and your air fryer model, so it’s a good idea to check for doneness.
  5. Check for Doneness: Ensure that the internal temperature of the burgers reaches at least 160°F (71°C) to ensure they are safely cooked. You can use a meat thermometer for accuracy.
  6. Toast the Burger Buns: In the last couple of minutes, you can place the hamburger buns in the air fryer to toast them slightly. Keep an eye on them to avoid burning.
  7. Assemble the Burgers: Once the burger patties and buns are ready, assemble your burgers. Place the cooked patties on the buns and add your favorite toppings and condiments.
  8. Serve and Enjoy: Serve the air-fried burgers immediately while they’re hot. Enjoy your delicious, crispy-on-the-outside and juicy-on-the-inside air fryer burgers!
