AIR FRYER CHICKEN WINGS

AIR FRYER CHICKEN WINGS

Ingredients:

  • 2 pounds of chicken wings
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon of paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon of onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon of cayenne pepper (adjust to your preferred spice level)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your air fryer: Typically, you’ll want to preheat your air fryer to around 400°F (200°C) for a few minutes.
  2. Prepare the chicken wings: Pat the chicken wings dry with a paper towel to remove excess moisture. This will help the wings become crispy in the air fryer.
  3. Season the chicken wings: In a large mixing bowl, toss the chicken wings with olive oil, salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, and cayenne pepper. Make sure the wings are evenly coated with the seasonings.
  4. Cook the chicken wings: Place the seasoned chicken wings in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Be careful not to overcrowd the basket, as this can affect the air circulation and crispiness of the wings. You may need to cook them in batches.
  5. Air fry the wings: Set the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) and cook for about 25-30 minutes, flipping the wings halfway through the cooking time. Cooking time may vary depending on the size of your wings and the specific air fryer model. Make sure the internal temperature of the chicken reaches at least 165°F (74°C) to ensure they are fully cooked.
  6. Serve: Once the wings are crispy and cooked through, remove them from the air fryer and let them rest for a few minutes before serving. You can serve them with your favorite dipping sauces like ranch, blue cheese, or barbecue sauce.
