Air Fryer Fried Rice

No need to stand over the stove stir frying your rice with this fun recipe using the air fryer! Everything cooks in the air fryer quickly and comes out tasting amazing.

INGREDIENTS

  • 6 slices bacon
  • 2 cups cooked and cooled white rice
  • ½ sweet onion diced
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon minced ginger
  • 1 teaspoon sriracha
  • 2 large eggs beaten
  • 1 cup frozen peas and carrots

INSTRUCTIONS

  • Add the bacon slices to your air fryer basket and cook at 400 degrees for 6 minutes. The bacon will not be fully cooked at this point, but remove from the air fryer basket and chop into small pieces. It will continue cooking with the rice. Drain the grease from the basket of the air fryer.
  • Add the bacon to a bowl with the rice, onion, soy sauce, sesame oil, ginger, and sriracha. Stir well to combine.
  • Transfer the rice to a 7 inch round dish that will fit your air fryer basket (see notes).
  • Air fry at 350 degrees for 6 minutes.
  • Stir well and pour the beaten eggs over the rice. Cook for 4 minutes.
  • Stir to break up the eggs and then stir in the peas and carrots. Cook for 2 more minutes.
  • Serve hot.

NOTES

Choose a a baking dish that fits inside your air fryer. We use the round dish from this set.
