Air Fryer Mushrooms

Air Fryer Mushrooms

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound (about 450g) mushrooms, cleaned and halved or quartered, depending on size
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the Air Fryer: Set your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) and allow it to preheat for a few minutes.
  2. Prepare the Mushrooms: In a large bowl, toss the cleaned and halved mushrooms with olive oil, minced garlic, dried thyme, paprika, salt, and pepper. Ensure the mushrooms are well coated with the seasonings.
  3. Air Fry: Place the seasoned mushrooms in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Avoid overcrowding to ensure even cooking.
  4. Cooking Time: Cook the mushrooms in the air fryer for 12-15 minutes, shaking or stirring halfway through the cooking time. The exact time may vary based on the size and type of mushrooms, so keep an eye on them and adjust accordingly.
  5. Check for Doneness: The mushrooms are done when they are golden brown and tender. If needed, you can cook them for an additional few minutes.
  6. Garnish and Serve: Once done, transfer the air-fried mushrooms to a serving dish. Garnish with fresh chopped parsley if desired.
  7. Serve Warm: Serve the air-fried mushrooms as a side dish, appetizer, or even as a topping for salads or pasta.
