Air Fryer PASTA CHIPS

Ingredients:

  • 8 ounces of your favorite pasta (penne, rigatoni, or similar shapes work well)
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Marinara sauce or other dipping sauces (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Cook the pasta: Boil the pasta according to the package instructions until it’s al dente. Drain the pasta and let it cool for a few minutes.
  2. Season the pasta: In a large bowl, combine the cooked pasta with olive oil, Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Toss everything together until the pasta is evenly coated with the seasonings and cheese.
  3. Preheat the air fryer: Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  4. Air fry the pasta chips: Place the seasoned pasta in the air fryer basket in a single layer. You may need to do this in batches, depending on the size of your air fryer. Cook the pasta chips for about 8-10 minutes or until they are crispy and golden brown. Shake the basket or flip the pasta chips halfway through the cooking time to ensure even browning.
  5. Serve and enjoy: Once the pasta chips are done, remove them from the air fryer and let them cool for a minute or two. Serve them with marinara sauce or your favorite dipping sauce if desired.
