Air Fryer Pork Chops

Air Fryer Pork Chops

Ingredients:

  • 4 boneless pork chops (about 1 inch thick)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt (adjust to taste)
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper (adjust to taste)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the Air Fryer: Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.
  2. Prepare the Pork Chops: Pat the pork chops dry with paper towels. This helps the spices stick better.
  3. Season the Pork Chops: In a small bowl, mix together garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, dried thyme, salt, and black pepper. Rub the spice mixture evenly over both sides of each pork chop. Drizzle olive oil over the pork chops and rub it in, ensuring they are well coated.
  4. Place in the Air Fryer Basket: Place the seasoned pork chops in the air fryer basket in a single layer, ensuring they are not overcrowded. If needed, cook them in batches.
  5. Air Fry: Cook the pork chops at 400°F (200°C) for about 12-15 minutes, flipping them halfway through the cooking time. The exact cooking time may vary based on the thickness of your pork chops and the specific model of your air fryer. Ensure the internal temperature of the pork reaches 145°F (63°C).
  6. Rest Before Serving: Once cooked, allow the pork chops to rest for a few minutes before serving. This allows the juices to redistribute, keeping the meat moist.
  7. Serve: Serve the air-fried pork chops with your favorite sides, such as roasted vegetables, mashed potatoes, or a fresh salad.
