Air fryer Shrimp And Sausage Kebabs

Ingredients:

For the kebabs:

  • 1/2 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1/2 pound smoked sausage, cut into chunks
  • 1 bell pepper, cut into chunks
  • 1 red onion, cut into chunks
  • Wooden skewers, soaked in water for 30 minutes

For the marinade:

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Lemon wedges for serving (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a bowl, combine all the ingredients for the marinade: olive oil, minced garlic, paprika, dried oregano, dried thyme, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Thread the shrimp, sausage, bell pepper, and onion onto the wooden skewers, alternating them to create colorful kebabs.
  4. Brush the kebabs with the prepared marinade, ensuring they are well coated on all sides.
  5. Place the kebabs in the preheated air fryer basket. You may need to cook them in batches depending on the size of your air fryer.
  6. Air fry the kebabs at 400°F for 8-10 minutes, turning them halfway through the cooking time. Shrimp should turn pink, and the sausage and veggies should be slightly charred.
  7. Once the kebabs are cooked, remove them from the air fryer and let them rest for a minute.
  8. Serve the air fryer shrimp and sausage kebabs with lemon wedges on the side for an extra burst of flavor, if desired.
