CASHEW CHEESE

No need to buy those oil and junk filled vegan cheeses from the supermarket you can make your own whole foods plant based version SO easily. I never made my own cheeses before because I thought it was HARD, complicated, but then I made this version in minutes after pre soaking the cashews.
So, yeah, give it a go and prepare to be amazed.
This stuff is awesome on crackers, in sandwiches, in cooking, on pizzas and as a PASTA SAUCE! It’s so versatile! 💯
Soak 200g raw cashew nuts for 24 hours.
Drain and blend in a high speed blender with 2 tablespoons nutritional yeast, 1 tsp turmeric powder, pinch paprika, 2 cloves garlic, 1/2 squeezed lemon and seasoning to taste.
You will need to add enough water to just get a, spin going (usually about 1/2 cup)
Make sure you blend until very smooth.
For a harder setting cheeses you can add a couple of tbsp coconut oil.
