cherry ice cream

Ingredients

1 15oz can of Coconut Cream (or any non dairy milk or frozen bananas)
1 15oz can of dark cherries
1/4 cup of raw unrefined sugar (or any sweetener or none at all)
1 tablespoon of maraschino cherry liquid (for very cherry make it 2-4 tablespoons)
1 tablespoon of maraschino cherries
1 tablespoon of dark semi sweet chocolate chips
1) Drain cherries and then freeze.
2) Add cream, frozen cherries, and sugar to blender and blend.
3) Add maraschino cherry liquid and blend.
4) Add chocolate chips and maraschino cherries to container for ice cream and then add the ice cream. Stir well. I reused a Talenti container and tightened the lid and shook the contents to blend it all well. Some of the cherries and chips settled on the bottom but that’s alright.
The ice cream did not fit in one container so the remaining portion went into a second Talenti container and I added extra maraschino cherry liquid, shook the container to blend well.
5) Place the containers in the freezer and allow to set before serving.
