Ingredients:
- 1 lb (about 500g) boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 3 cups broccoli florets
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil (for cooking)
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: red pepper flakes for heat, sesame seeds for garnish
Instructions:
- In a bowl, mix the soy sauce, oyster sauce, cornstarch, and sesame oil to create the sauce. Set aside.
- Season the chicken pieces with salt and pepper.
- Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
- Add the chicken pieces to the skillet and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Remove the cooked chicken from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add a bit more oil if needed. Sauté the minced garlic and ginger until fragrant.
- Add the broccoli florets to the skillet and stir-fry for about 3-5 minutes until they are tender-crisp.
- Return the cooked chicken to the skillet and pour the sauce over the chicken and broccoli. Toss everything together until well coated and heated through.
- Adjust seasoning if necessary and add red pepper flakes if you like a bit of heat.
- Serve the Chicken and Broccoli Stir-Fry over rice or noodles, and garnish with sesame seeds if desired.
