Chocolate banana nice cream

ngredients:

  • 3 ripe bananas, peeled, sliced, and frozen
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2-3 tablespoons milk (dairy or plant-based)
  • Optional toppings: sliced bananas, chopped nuts, chocolate chips, or shredded coconut

Instructions:

  1. Place the frozen banana slices in a blender or food processor.
  2. Add cocoa powder and vanilla extract to the frozen bananas.
  3. Start blending the mixture. You may need to stop and scrape down the sides of the blender or food processor occasionally to ensure everything is well combined.
  4. As the mixture blends, add milk gradually until you achieve a smooth and creamy consistency. Be careful not to add too much liquid, as you want the nice cream to be thick.
  5. Continue blending until the nice cream reaches a smooth, ice cream-like texture.
  6. Taste and adjust the sweetness if needed. If you prefer a sweeter nice cream, you can add a small amount of honey, maple syrup, or any sweetener of your choice.
  7. Once the nice cream reaches the desired consistency, transfer it to a bowl.
  8. Serve immediately as a soft-serve treat or transfer it to a container and freeze for a couple of hours for a firmer texture.
  9. Before serving, you can sprinkle your favorite toppings such as sliced bananas, chopped nuts, chocolate chips, or shredded coconut.
