Ingredients:
1 medium head of cauliflower, cut into bite-sized florets 2 tablespoons olive oil 1/2 cup bread crumbs or panko crumbs (you can use gluten-free crumbs if needed) 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese (or a vegan alternative if preferred) 1 teaspoon garlic powder 1 teaspoon paprika 1/2 teaspoon salt (adjust to taste) 1/4 teaspoon black pepper Cooking spray (to prevent sticking)
Instructions:
- Prep the Cauliflower:
- Wash the cauliflower and cut it into bite-sized florets. Dry them thoroughly to ensure they get crispy in the air fryer.
- Prepare the Coating:
- In a bowl, mix together the bread crumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. This mixture will be used to coat the cauliflower.
- Coat the Cauliflower:
- Toss the cauliflower florets in olive oil to lightly coat them. This will help the coating adhere to the cauliflower.
- Roll the oiled cauliflower in the breadcrumb mixture, ensuring they are evenly coated. You can press the coating onto the florets to help it stick.
- Air Fry:
- Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- Place the coated cauliflower florets in a single layer in the air fryer basket. You may need to work in batches, depending on the size of your air fryer.
- Cook:
- Cook the cauliflower in the air fryer for about 15-20 minutes, or until they are golden brown and crispy. Shake the basket or flip the florets halfway through the cooking time to ensure even browning.
- Serve:
- Once the cauliflower is crispy and golden, remove it from the air fryer. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce, such as ranch dressing, marinara sauce, or a yogurt-based dip.
