This marinade requires just a few ingredients, but creates a sweet, spicy and tangy steak perfect for any weeknight meal.
INGREDIENTS
- 1.5 pounds Skirt Steak
- 5 TB Soy Sauce
- 1/3 cup Gochujang (Korean chili paste)
- 5 Garlic Cloves, minced
- 1 tsp Ginger, grated
- 1 Bunch Scallions, chopped
- 2 tsp Sesame Oil
- Avocado Oil
- Kosher Salt
- Sesame Seeds (for garnish)
INSTRUCTIONS
- Combine soy sauce, gochujang, garlic, ginger, sesame oil, and scallions in a bowl.
- Coat the skirt steak in the marinade and cover in the fridge for at least an hour or up to 8 hours.
- Bring a pan to high heat with some oil.
- Season the steak lightly with salt.
- Sear the steak for about 2-3 minutes per side.
- Allow the steak to rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
