Keto Fried cabbage with sausage and shrimp
Ingredients:
- 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 pound sausage (such as Andouille or any other keto-friendly sausage), sliced
- 1 medium head of cabbage, thinly sliced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 tablespoons olive oil or avocado oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: red pepper flakes for spice
- Optional: chopped fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions:
- Heat oil in a large skillet or pan over medium-high heat.
- Add the sliced sausage to the skillet and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
- Once the sausage is cooked, add the minced garlic and chopped onion to the skillet. Sauté until the onions are translucent and fragrant, about 2-3 minutes.
- Add the sliced cabbage to the skillet. Stir well to combine with the sausage, onion, and garlic.
- Season the mixture with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes if desired. Continue to cook, stirring occasionally, until the cabbage is tender but still slightly crisp, about 8-10 minutes.
- Once the cabbage is cooked to your liking, add the shrimp to the skillet. Cook until the shrimp are pink and opaque, about 3-5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Taste and adjust seasoning if needed. Remove from heat.
- Garnish with chopped fresh parsley if desired.
