Keto Garlic Parmesan Mushrooms

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound (about 450g) mushrooms, cleaned and halved or quartered
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. Preheat Oven:
    • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Prepare Mushrooms:
    • Clean the mushrooms and cut them into halves or quarters, depending on their size.
  3. Sauté Mushrooms:
    • In a large oven-safe skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
    • Add the mushrooms to the skillet and cook for 5-7 minutes until they start to release their moisture and become tender.
  4. Add Garlic:
    • Stir in the minced garlic and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes until fragrant. Be careful not to burn the garlic.
  5. Season:
    • Season the mushrooms with salt and black pepper to taste. Mix well.
  6. Top with Parmesan:
    • Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese evenly over the mushrooms.
  7. Bake:
    • Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for about 10-12 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly, and the mushrooms are cooked through.
  8. Garnish:
    • Remove the skillet from the oven and sprinkle the chopped fresh parsley over the mushrooms.
  9. Serve:
