INGREDIENTS:
Vegan biscuit or cookies (from your local bakery)
Chocolate milk (substitute for espresso)
Fruit jam (apricot or other preferred flavor)
Vegan whipped cream (e.g., Alpro Red)
Vanilla extract
Cream stiffener
Chocolate powder
Optional: Banana slices (alternative to jam)
Optional: Whipped chocolate cream
INSTRUCTIONS:
Prepare the Base:Arrange a layer of vegan biscuits or cookies at the bottom of your serving dish.
Moisten the Base:Pour chocolate milk over the biscuits until they are lightly soaked. Ensure not to oversaturate.
Fruit Layer:Spread a thin layer of fruit jam over the moistened biscuits. Apricot jam works well for this recipe. If preferred, you can substitute banana slices for a different flavor profile.
Whipped Cream Layer:In a mixing bowl, combine vegan whipped cream with a little bit of vanilla extract and cream stiffener to stabilize it. Spread a layer of the whipped cream mixture over the fruit layer.
Repeat Layers (Optional):If desired, you can repeat the layers by adding another layer of biscuits, moistening them with chocolate milk, and then topping with fruit jam or banana slices followed by whipped cream.
Final Touches:Dust the top of the tiramisu with chocolate powder for a finishing touch.
Chill and Serve:Refrigerate the tiramisu for at least an hour to allow the flavors to meld together and the dessert to set properly. Serve chilled and enjoy!
Optional Variation:For a different twist, you can use whipped chocolate cream instead of or in addition to the fruit layers. Simply spread it over the biscuit layer before adding the fruit or banana slices.
