Air fryer Cheese on toast

Ingredients:

  • Sliced bread
  • Butter
  • Grated cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or your favorite melting cheese)
  • Optional: herbs, spices, or toppings of your choice (garlic powder, paprika, chopped herbs, etc.)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (180°C).
  2. Spread a thin layer of butter on one side of each slice of bread.
  3. Place the bread slices, buttered side down, in the air fryer basket. You may need to do this in batches depending on the size of your air fryer.
  4. Sprinkle a generous amount of grated cheese on the non-buttered side of the bread.
  5. Add any optional herbs, spices, or additional toppings to your liking.
  6. Place the loaded bread slices back into the air fryer basket.
  7. Air fry for about 3-5 minutes or until the cheese is melted and the edges of the bread are crispy and golden brown. Cooking times may vary depending on your specific air fryer model, so keep an eye on it to prevent burning.
  8. Carefully remove the cheese on toast from the air fryer and let it cool for a moment before serving.
  9. Optional: Cut the toast into smaller pieces for easy snacking or dipping.
