Carnivore Loaded Burger Cups
Ingredients:
- 1 lb ground beef (80/20 or higher fat content for juiciness)
- 4 oz shredded cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or Parmesan)
- 4 slices bacon (cooked and crumbled)
- 2 eggs (optional, for a richer filling)
- Salt (optional, for seasoning)
Optional Add-Ons (Carnivore-Friendly):
- Crumbled pork rinds (for texture)
- A dollop of sour cream or whipped bone marrow as a topping
Instructions:
- Preheat the Oven:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a muffin tin with butter or tallow. - Prepare the Meat Cups:
- Divide the ground beef into 6 equal portions.
- Press each portion into a muffin cup, shaping it to form a “cup” with space in the center for filling.
- Season with salt if desired.
- Cook the Bacon:
If not already cooked, fry the bacon until crispy. Crumble it into small pieces and set aside. - Add Fillings:
- Sprinkle a little shredded cheese and crumbled bacon into the center of each meat cup.
- If using eggs, crack an egg into the center of each cup or whisk the eggs and pour a small amount into each one.
- Bake:
Place the muffin tin in the oven and bake for 20–25 minutes, or until the beef is cooked through and the cheese is melted. If adding eggs, bake until the eggs are set. - Cool and Serve:
Let the burger cups cool for 2–3 minutes in the tin before removing. Serve warm, optionally topped with a dollop of sour cream, extra cheese, or melted butter.
Pro Tips:
- Use High-Fat Meat: Ground beef with higher fat content ensures the cups stay juicy and flavorful.
- Storage: Leftovers can be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days and reheated in the oven or air fryer.
