New Orleans Yakamein


  • 2 lbs of beef chuck roast
  • 2 quarts of beef broth
  • 1 tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon of soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon of hot sauce
  • 1 tablespoon of garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon of onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon of paprika
  • 1 tablespoon of cumin
  • 1 tablespoon of chili powder
  • 1 lb of spaghetti
  • Hard-boiled eggs, sliced (optional)
  • Green onions, chopped (optional)


  1. Start by cutting the beef into small bite-sized pieces. In a large pot, heat up the beef broth and add the Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, hot sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, cumin, and chili powder. Add the beef to the pot and let it simmer for 2-3 hours until the beef is tender.
  2. Once the beef is cooked, cook the spaghetti according to package instructions until it is al dente.
  3. To assemble the dish, place a serving of cooked spaghetti in a bowl, and ladle the beef and broth mixture over the top of the spaghetti.
  4. If desired, add sliced hard-boiled eggs and chopped green onions on top of the soup.
  5. Serve hot and enjoy the rich and flavorful Yakamein!
