roast vegetables pizza

This is what Wetherspoons Rochester thought was acceptable as a pizza – roast vegetables. And it wasn’t cheap. I sent it back and have twittered as well as emailed. Why do some chains think we deserve less because we’re vegan? I’m sure a chicken or ham pizza would have been loaded. I wanted to treat myself to a meal out, which I rarely do. Forgot to say, I also put it on tripadvisor and google.
Update: Wetherspoons sent a cut and paste apology. They told me they considered the matter closed. I don’t.
I’ve told them that’s not acceptable and that I want it escalated to Tim Martin, the CEO. If it’s not addressed by him then I will be taking it to vegan publications.
