VEGAN CAROB BREAD

VEGAN CAROB BREAD

Ingredients:
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup carob powder
1 cup coconut sugar (or other sweetener of your choice)
1 tablespoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 cups almond milk (or any other plant-based milk)
1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce
1/4 cup melted coconut oil
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a loaf pan and set it aside.
In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, carob powder, coconut sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt until well combined.
In a separate bowl, combine the almond milk, applesauce, melted coconut oil, and vanilla extract. Whisk until smooth and well blended.
Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Be careful not to overmix; a few lumps are okay.
Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top with a spatula.
Bake in the preheated oven for about 45-50 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Remove the bread from the oven and let it cool in the pan for about 10 minutes. Then, transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely.
Once cooled, slice the bread and serve. Enjoy your delicious vegan carob bread!
Feel free to adjust the sweetness or add any additional ingredients such as nuts or dried fruit to customize the bread to your liking.
